Darlene E Ice, age 62, of Mansfield Ohio passed away on May 5, 2025 at Oak Grove Manor following a long-term illness. On September 6, 1962 she was born in Stewart, Florida, the daughter of the late Tom Ice and Elizabeth Hampton.
Following graduation, she went into the Air Force as an inventory management specialist. She also loved doing work for the community and being a tour guide at the Bible museum.
Darlene enjoyed the Bible walk, going to church, cooking and being with family. Her proudest achievements were her daughter and grandson. Darlene’s ability to make people smile and feel at home was what made her unique. Darlene was a member of Diamond Hill Cathedral Church.
She has survived by daughter, Marybeth (Khalil) Ice; mother, Vera Heller; grandson, Roman; Goddaughter, Arkayla Bronson; siblings, David Bleveins, Tom (MaryAnn) Ice, Diana (James) Ferguson, Laura Blevins, Paula (Ed) Walker and Tina (Kelly) Shanholt; her special nieces, Jesse (Tom) Mahan and Melissa (Michael) Whaley and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Darlene’s life will be held at a later date.
