MANSFIELD — A Shelby man was sentenced to 28 years to life in prison after pleading guilty as charged to 15 counts, including six rape charges.

David Irwin, 45, pleaded guilty on April 30 to six counts of rape, five counts of sexual battery and four counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, according to Richland County Common Pleas Court records.

Irwin will also be registered as a Tier III sex offender, according to court records. He was granted 433 days of jail credit for time already served at the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.

Criminal sentencing and other dispositions

Below are criminal court cases which have been resolved in Richland County Common Pleas Court in recent months.

The list includes any case which Richland Source has published as an indictment, stories which first began publishing here in February 2024.

March

— Denver Wright, 56, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on March 25. Wright was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs and possession of a fentanyl-related compound in October 2024. Wright’s case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.

April

— Traviseieso James-Osorio, 28, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on April 29. James-Osorio was indicted on possession of cocaine in April 2024. His case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.

— Hunter Hollins, 30, was sentenced to three years of community control for an assault charge, supervision to be transferred to Cuyahoga County. Hollins also received one to three years of mandatory post-release control.

— Bradley Foote, 50, was sentenced to three years in prison for illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility and two counts of aggravated possession of drugs. He was also ordered to pay $80 to the Mansfield Police Department crime lab. Foote is subject to up to two years of post-release control. He was granted 141 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Timothy Mohler, 48, was granted treatment in lieu of conviction on April 10. Mohler was originally indicted on aggravated possession of drugs in August 2024.

— Stephen Wierbiki, 36, received 30 months of community control for an aggravated possession of drugs charge. Wierbiki was also fined $250 and must pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Jamarr D. Norris, 45, was sentenced to two years in prison for having weapons while under disability and carrying a concealed weapon, which merged with his first count. A receiving stolen property charge was dismissed. Norris is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Christopher Crawford, 28, was sentenced to four to six years in prison for aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and two specifications for forfeiture of a cell phone in a drug case. Crawford also received 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control. He was granted 239 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Lindsay Kessler, 41, received three years of community control for possession of cocaine. An illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed. Kessler was ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Ryan Bernat, 26, was sentenced to a year in prison for an amended gross sexual imposition charge. Bernat must also register as a Tier I sex offender. He was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $352 to the case’s victim. Bernat received up to five years of mandatory post-release control and was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Donald Fairchild, 52, was sentenced to 22 and-a-half years in prison for 10 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Fairchild also received up to five years of mandatory post-release control and must register as a Tier II sex offender. He was granted 153 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Alexander Graham, 32, passed away in March 2025. His case, which included two aggravated possession of drugs charges, was dismissed.

In a seperate case, charges of aggravated possession of drugs and petty theft were also dismissed.

— Milton Reed, 29, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for attempted having weapons while under disability, trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound and two forfeiture specifications. Four additional charges were dismissed. Reed was ordered to forfeit a firearm to the State of Ohio and pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He was granted 20 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Heather Walters, 39, received a six-month prison sentence for possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Walters was granted two days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— James Fletcher, 56, was sentenced to four to five years, consecutive to a one-year gun specification, in prison for multiple charges, including four counts of illegally manufacturing or possessing explosives, four counts of unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance and one count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle. He must forfeit a firearm to the state. Fletcher received 18 months to three years of mandatory post-release control and was granted 198 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Seth Harrison, 35, received a nine-month prison sentence for having weapons while under disability, including a specification for forfeiture of a weapon. He must forfeit a firearm to the state. Harrison was granted 221 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Cynthia Riggenbach, 36, received four years of community control, to be transferred to Summit County, for three charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs. She was also ordered to pay $70 to the Ohio State Highway Patrol crime lab. Riggenbach is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Trevor Oleary, 28, was sentenced to six months in prison for possession of a fentanyl-related compound. He was granted nine days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Sherri Sweeney, 41, received three years of community control for aggravated possession of drugs. She is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Tyisone Norris, 27, was sentenced to 30 months of community control for possession of a fentanyl-related compound. Norris was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab and is subject to up to two years of post-release control.

— Jacob Dulaney, 44, received a one-year prison sentence for two charges of receiving stolen property. Dulaney was ordered to make restitution in the amount of $63.60. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 140 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Kaitlyn Orewiler, 26, was accepted into Richland County Substance Abuse Treatment Court on April 29. Orewiler was indicted on aggravated possession of drugs in November 2024. Her case has been transferred to SATC for all further proceedings.

— Erik Gunsberg, 60, was sentenced to two years in prison for four charges; illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds of a specified governmental facility, aggravated possession of drugs, obstructing official business and falsification. Gunsberg was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. He is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 73 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— David W. Moore, 61, received a three-year prison sentence for failure to provide notice of change of address. Moore is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 55 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Andrea Reynolds, 41, was sentenced to eight months in prison for possession of cocaine. Reynolds is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 90 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— William Lambert, 38, was sentenced to a year in prison for an escape charge. Lambert is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 48 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.

— Bradley Foote, 50, received a one-year prison sentence for aggravated possession of drugs. He was also ordered to pay $40 to the MPD crime lab. Foote is subject to up to two years of post-release control and was granted 32 days of jail credit for time already served at RCSO.
