BUTLER TOWNSHIP — An Ashland teen died on Monday night after a one-vehicle crash in Butler Township, according to the Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Bryce R. Killion, 18, of Ashland, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on North Adario Road near Crum Road, in Butler Township, at 8:57 p.m.
The preliminary investigation shows a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on North Adario Road. The Chevrolet Silverado was driven by Killion.
According to the Patrol, the Chevrolet Silverado traveled off the left side of the roadway while negotiating a curve, striking a rock pile and a tree.
The Savannah Fire Department, Madison Township Fire Department, and Wilcox Towing assisted on the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
