MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Masonic Temple building sold for $100,000 on March 20, 2025, according to property transfers from the Richland County Auditor’s Office.
The site is 3.7 acres, hosting the Masonic fraternal organization from 1960 through January 2024.
Formerly rumored to become an ALDI grocer store, the building was purchased by We Have a Dream CLS LLC, established by Fredericktown residents.
The LLC received its articles of organization on Feb. 24 from the Ohio Secretary of State.
According to a Jan. 30 statement from Corey Stucker, Hinckley division vice president for ALDI, the grocery chain does not have any information on a store in the Lexington or Mansfield area.
“As soon as we have information regarding further ALDI expansion in this area, we will reach out,” Stucker told Richland Source.
More than 180 properties were sold in Richland County in March, an 80-percent increase from February.
