MANSFIELD — The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (Richland SWCD) has announced that orders are being accepted for the pond fish sale until April 17.
Customers can select from the following fish species:
- Bluegill: $1.25 each
- Yellow Perch: $1.25 each
- Largemouth Bass: $1.50 each
- Fathead Minnows: $8.25 per 100
- Channell Catfish: $1.25 each
- Hybrid Bluegill: $1.25 each
- Redear Bluegill: $1.25 each
- White Amur: $16 each
In addition to fish, customers may also purchase essential pond supplies:

- Optimal Fish Food: $48.00 each
- Plastic Bag and Tie: $1.00 each
Orders may be placed online at https://richlandswcd.net/event/pond-fish-sale-order-deadline-2/. A minimum order of $20.00 is required.
Pick-up for all orders will take place at the Richland County Fairgrounds Horse Barn on April 25 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Customers should bring appropriate containers to transport their fish safely.
Five-gallon buckets work well but must have an unscented poly liner to ensure fish have enough oxygen during transportation.
Customers should also have their containers filled one-third full with the pond water the fish will be transferred into.
