Connie E. Frontz, age 71 of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 1, 1954, in Mansfield to the late Harold and Ruth (Bowman) Frontz.
Connie was a woman of many hobbies. She enjoyed yard sales, flea markets, auctions, and shopping in general, as well as traveling and playing bingo. Her family fondly remembers her deep love of Christmas and her faithful viewership of the television show “Days of Our Lives” since its inception. Beyond all else, she adored her family, especially her grandbabies, and she loved spending time with them at cookouts and other family gatherings. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children Terry Frontz, Tabetha Frontz, Michael Frontz, Ryan (Sadie) Mutchler, Chasity Edwards, Ronald Edwards, Jr., and Merie Edwards; her siblings Nancy Frontz, Arnold Frontz, and Kevin Frontz; her special friend Jeanie Lahman Backensto; her special niece Haley Frontz; 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Ruth Frontz, her son Jasen Frontz, her brother Douglas Frontz, her grandson Aaron Vitatoe, and her nephew Jeffrey Frontz.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held in the spring in honor of her love of cookouts.
