Paula J. Huckeba, age 64 of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. She was born on April 24, 1960, in Mansfield to the late David and Francis (Kanz) Fortney, and she married the love of her life, Ernest Huckeba, on October 9, 2003.
Paula worked in the dietary department of Mansfield Hospital for over 20 years, and she enjoyed attending craft shows and sewing. She was also a fan of watching racing, especially the Daytona 500. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Huckeba; her son Jeff Anderson; her brother Eric Fortney; her grandchildren Kayla Perez, Jordan Roberts, Allen Roberts, Jaxson Anderson, Amanda Rodrigues, and Jessica Huckeba; and numerous great-grandchildren. During her life, she was also loved by her adopted sons and special grandchild JR and Addie Leonard, who survive to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents David and Francis Fortney; her sister Lois Carver; and her aunt Martha Kleman.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, 1106 Park Ave. E., Mansfield. Services will follow at 12:00 pm.
