MANSFIELD – The 23rd episode of the News Man Weekly podcast has dropped.
In this week’s edition, Richland Source City Editor Carl Hunnell is joined by Carmone and Duncan Macfarlane from the Phoenix Brewing Company in Mansfield.
The husband-and-wife team, along with Scott Cardwell and Steve Zigmund, helped launch the craft brewery a decade ago on North Diamond Street and have helped to oversee 10 years of success and growth.
Both of them left full-time careers to launch what has become one of the most popular nightspots in the city.
Hunnell is also joined by Executive Producer Zac Hiser and videographer Grant Ritchey to talk about the news of the week, including the death of a Mansfield teen whose body was found 100 miles away in Harrison County; the Richland County Land Bank receiving $1.7 million state grants, including another $1 million for the Westinghouse project; and a ribbon-cutting event to launch a new office for the Richland County Clerk of Courts and space for county grand jury sessions.
There is also discussion about area high school football, including the state semifinal game coming up Friday night in Shelby between Danville and Hillsdale high schools.
