MANSFIELD — Artists from Richland County and beyond shared their talents with downtown Mansfield on Saturday for the sixth annual Mansfield Arts Festival — ManAFest.

This year’s festival welcomed an Oddities and Curiosities zone, a Kids Zone, food trucks, crafts, fine arts, musicians and performers.

Victoria Hoefler, president of the Mansfield Arts and Culture Sector and ManAFest’s coordinator, said she wants to continue expanding specific themes within the larger arts festival.

“I told Dani (Sheridan) to organize the Oddities and Curiosities as if it were a separate festival, and she did an absolutely amazing job,” Hoefler said. “I’d like to do that in future years too, so if someone is interested only in oddities or only in crafts, they can find their way easier.

“It gets better and better each year, so I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.”

Hoefler chose art sector leaders Susan Gentille and Lucas Hargis to judge awards this year for ManAFest. The two announced special awards including the first annual Paul McClain Legacy Award, presented to painters in Paul McClain’s honor.

ManAFest award-winners included:

  • Paul McClain Legacy Award: Joshua Arneson

  • Jewelry: Julia McQuillen
