Christine M Heichel, 73, of Ontario, Ohio died on September 16, 2024 at home surrounded by her family following an extended illness. She was born on July 20, 1951 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Martha (Gray) Ferguson and Forrest Ferguson. On January 23, 1988 she married Thomas Heichel at the Taylortown Community Church in Shelby and together they shared 36 years of marriage.
Chris enjoyed flowers, puppies, golf, spending time in her back patio “Chick Shack” and with her special friends.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; children, Rob (Maryann) Withrow, Jeff (Chris) Heichel, Eric (Connie) Withrow, Ken (Molly) Heichel, Adam Withrow, Jen Knackstedt and Kaitlynn Chelski; grandchildren, Jimmy & Kyle Withrow, Magen Galloway, Jeffrey, Ian & Katrina Heichel, Christina Hicks, Erick Withrow, Tim Heichel, Rachel Klarman, Nev, Braxton and Amira Withrow, Kayla Micallef, Karli Knackstedt, Landyn & Chandler Chelski, Oaklynn Davis and 13 great grandchildren. Chris is also survived by 7 siblings, Dwane, David, Donald, Ted, Karen (Chambers), Dan (Lisa) and James (Diana) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Karen.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Katherine Exten and staff, Bertha King & her Infusion Center Staff and Western Reserve Hospice.
