MANSFIELD — Due to the program’s success at the Main Library, Mansfield Richland County Public Library is expanding its partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to help fight food insecurity in Richland County.
Beginning Thursday, Sept, 12, the Butler, Madison, and Plymouth branch locations will join the Main Library in offering Backpack Meals to children 18 and under.
Each meal bag will include two breakfast items, two entrees, and two snacks. Customers can pick up the shelf-stable meals at the children’s service desks in all four locations beginning at 4:30 p.m. each Thursday while supplies last.
There are no eligibility requirements to receive meals. Please go to mrcpl.org for location hours.
