Paul Kamal Shipley, 41, of Mansfield, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 23, 2024, at his home.
Paul was born December 18, 1982, in Calcutta, India. He was adopted and moved to Ohio. Paul enjoyed playing basketball and baseball and participated in the Special Olympics. He collected Ninja Turtles and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
Paul is survived by his parents, Lawrence (Gladys) Shipley and Penny Shipley all of Mt. Gilead; five brothers, Timothy Shipley of Columbus, Aaron Shipley of Mansfield, Kory, Randy (Melisa), and Kevin (Diana) Shipley all of Mt. Gilead; five sisters, Kristi (Timothy) Plotner of Cardington, Katherine (Ron) Harris of Findlay, Kimberly (George II) Kern of West Liberty, Lisa Shipley of Hamilton, and Faith Yausey of Marion; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents and one brother, Kelly Dale Shipley.
Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at the funeral home with Pastor A.J. Brinegar officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, St. Rt. 95, Chesterville, OH.
