SHELBY — The Community Improvement Corporation of Shelby (CIC) is proud to announce the availability of veteran banners for purchase in Shelby.
These banners offer a meaningful way for friends and family to honor a veteran who has served or is currently serving our country.
The double-sided banners will be prominently displayed throughout downtown Shelby during the entire month of November, coinciding with Veterans Day and serving as a visual tribute to the bravery and sacrifices of our service members.
The cost for a new banner is $150. Additionally, those who wish to display a previously purchased banner can do so for $75. Both options allow the community to show their support and respect for veterans in a public and lasting manner.
“We are honored to provide an opportunity for the community to recognize and celebrate the veterans who have made significant contributions to our nation,” said Jake Penwell, president of Shelby CIC.
“These banners not only honor the individual veterans, but also serve as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by all who have served.”
Banners are available for purchase online at shelbycic.com. The deadline for orders is Sept. 1, ensuring that all banners will be ready and displayed for the month of November.
