Ronald Dean Thompson, 67 years old, Lexington, passed away on August 1, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Mansfield, on January 9, 1957 to Helene (Rand) and H. Dean Thompson.
He joined the Air Force after graduation and briefly served his country. Ronald was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed flight simulators. He was an amateur HAM radio operator with the call sign KB8QDA. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Ronald is survived by his children, Rocky Thompson and Crystal (Mike) Williams; father, H. Dean Thompson; sister, Kay (Dan) Leclair; half-brother, Buddy (Debbie) Fickes; granddaughter, Gracelyn Williams; beloved dog Tiger and many cherished family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helene Thompson; sister, Laura Vandayburg and half-sister, Colleen Mories.
