MANSFIELD — Inkcarceration 2024 is in the books, leaving an indelible mark (and a few cuts and bruises) on the 75,000 headbangers who stormed in over the weekend. This spectacle wasn’t just unforgettable for the fans, but also for the battle-hardened crew at Richland Source.
While none of us camped in our cars this year, our team — reporters Brittany Schock, Adam Fox, Grace McCormick and Hayden Gray, along with freelance photographer Rob Stroul — were there every step of the way, doing our best to capture the essence of the rock music and tattoo festival.
From an exclusive interview with The Offspring, to writing about local food trucks, to mingling with attendees from around the country, we experienced it all. We enjoyed the comforts of the lush media tent (sorry, not sorry), but also got down and dirty in the mosh pits.
Check out the day-by-day recap below, with all of our photos and stories from an amazing weekend.
