MANSFIELD — Mansfield/Richland County Public Library (MRCPL) has recently added several new information resources and services for library customers.

MRCPL library cardholders can now enhance their language learning goals with access to Rosetta Stone Library Solution.

Whether patrons want to learn a new language, further their ESL learning as non-native English speakers, or brush up on a language for business or vacation travel, Rosetta Stone Library Solution is the perfect solution.

This vital resource includes 24 languages to meet a range of cultural interests.

The award-winning interactive approach has been successfully used by millions of learners worldwide and is now accessible via the Library’s research databases webpage.

MRCPL recently added a new online financial planning resource, Weiss Financial Ratings, for library cardholders.

This new resource empowers individuals who want to protect their finances, invest wisely, grow their wealth, and learn more about financial management.

Weiss Financial Ratings is designed to direct users toward safe banking and insurance options and strong investments, while helping avoid unnecessary risk that could lead to financial losses, giving you a sense of financial security.

This research can also be found on the Library’s research databases webpage.

MRCPL’s partnership with PCs for People is helping bridge the digital divide in Richland County.

Eligible customers* can shop with PCs for People on the Library’s website to purchase low-cost computers, hotspots, and internet service and pick up their purchases on weekdays at any MRCPL location.

Need help with your new device? Schedule a free, one-on-one in-person or virtual session with a member of the Learning Lab team. Find out more on the Library’s PCs for People webpage.

The Learning Lab at the Main Library is now offering a Creation Station. Creators, students, educators, and organizers can now use the on-site laminator, label maker, button maker, and photo printer.

The Lab offers supplies for these machines but customers are also welcome to bring their own. Appointments are recommended by calling 419-521-3146, but walk-ins are welcome, based on availability.

These new services and resources support the mission of the Library as a center for people of all ages to come together to have fun, learn, grow, craft, seek knowledge and understanding, connect, and engage.
