Nancy Joan Bailey, 92 years old, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on June 23, 2024 at Mansfield Place. She was born in Kanauga, Ohio, on January 9, 1932 to Alice Irene (Rothgeb) and Gilbert C. Beard.
She was an amazing mother who loved her family. Nancy loved laughing and having fun while traveling, gardening and shopping. She was married to Milford “Ace” Bailey on January 18, 1962 and they shared 56 years of marriage until his passing in 2018.
Nancy is survived by her children, Allyson Ramsey, Melissa (Mark) Wilson and David Bailey; her grandchildren, Glenn (Amanda) Bond III, Ashley (Josh) Enright, Brandon Bond; great grandchildren, Landon Walters, Halle Bond, Jaxon Bond, Carter Enright, Amiya Enright, Christopher Enright, Lyla Enright and Marlee Bond; brothers, Charles Beard and James Beard; sister, Alice Giles; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, William Beard.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wappner Funeral Directors – Ontario, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Rd. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
