Ronnie Melvin Montgomery,79,of Glendale AZ, passed away on February 20, 2024. He was born on June 14 1944 in Mansfield OH to late Coy and Esther Montgomery. Ron proudly served as a Vietnam Veteran in the army
After his military service he pursued a career as a Cement finisher. Ron was a dedicated individual who excelled in his work. He was a 1962 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. Ron will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to his profession. Ron is survived by his daughter, Tammera Montgomery of Phoenix Az, and his brothers, Coy(Pete) &Yvonne Montgomery of Mansfield OH, Darrell Montgomery of Phoenix AZ, Larry (Rick)&Sandy Montgomery of Mansfield Oh, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great great-nieces, great great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law James Smith, great niece Cheyenne Ray, wife June Montgomery, father Coy Montgomery, mother Esther Montgomery, sister and brother-in-law Debra and Terry Ray, and younger brother Gary Montgomery.
Celebration of life will be held at Liberty Baptist church June15 Saturday @10:00 with Kevin Evans 1248 Ganges East Rd, Shiloh Oh, followed by graveside service with military honors at Mansfield Cemetery .A room is reserved at Der Dutchman 720 State Rt 97 Bellville following.
Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
