Donna F. (Sharp) Jones, 78, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Donna was born on March 22, 1946, in Portsmouth, Ohio, to James W. and Thelma F. (Brown) Sharp. She was a 1964 graduate of Lucas High School. She was employed with Crestline Paint for 13 years, and was employed as a home health aide for 12 years. She also owned her trucking company for 12 years. Donna treasured her daughter and her grandchildren, and loved family gatherings. Along with being with family and friends, she enjoyed cooking and travel.
She is survived by her daughter, Cloie Porter; grandchildren, Lessie Merrina Parish and Luke Porter; siblings, Connie (Don) Mitchell, Alfred (Ruth) Sharp, and Lessie (Rick) Webb; and good friends, including Sue Bradshaw and Diane Medina among many other friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, James and Faye Sharp; and brother, Robert Sharp.
Calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the funeral home with Sharon Rawls officiating. Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery.
