AKRON — St. Peter’s senior Joy Kim capped her high school golf career in style.

Kim shot a two-day total of 150, good for sixth place at the Division II state tournament at Firestone County Club’s Fazio Course on Monday.

Kim opened with a 73 on Sunday. She shot a 77 on the final day of the two-day, 36-hole tournament.

Two years ago Kim carded an 86-78—164 on the same course, finishing 13th. She tied for fifth with a 73 at Heatherwoods last year, when the event was shortened to 18 holes because of inclement weather.

Cincinnati Madeira’s Ellie Hartung was the individual state champ, firing a 1-under 68-71—139 on the 6,904 yard layout.

Columbus Academy won the team title with a 615. Chagrin Falls (702) was a distant second.
