MANSFIELD — The stage is set, the curtains drawn, and the Mansfield Shakespeare Company is thrilled to announce auditions for its inaugural production of William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” 

Directed by Scott Leon Smith, this enchanting production promises to captivate audiences with its timeless tale of unrequited love and unexpected metamorphosis.

Date: May 20 & 21
Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Location: Founders Auditorium, OSU Mansfield Campus Parking: Lot 2

About the production

We are seeking performers ages 14 and up to bring this magical tale to life on stage. Singers, dancers, and musicians are also encouraged to audition. Auditioners will perform readings from the script.

Rehearsal schedule

Rehearsals will commence on Monday, June 3, with evening rehearsals scheduled four days per week.

This production is non-union and non-compensated. However, it offers a unique opportunity for local talent to showcase their skills and immerse themselves in the world of Shakespeare.
