LEXINGTON β€” Lady Lex may be the best-kept secret in all of Ohio β€” at least for now.

Unbeaten Lexington picked up the No. 1 seed in Sunday’s Division II Willard district tournament draw.

Lady Lex (19-0) opted for a first-round bye and will host either No. 9 Vermilion or No. 10 Tiffin Columbian in a sectional championship game at 5 p.m. May 7.

Clear Fork earned the No. 2 seed and also took a first-round bye. The Colts await the winner of a sectional semifinal game between No. 7 Sandusky Perkins and No. 8 Bellevue. Clear Fork will host the sectional final at 5 p.m. May 10.

Third-seeded Shelby will host No. 4 Norwalk in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 10. No. 6 seed Ontario will visit No. 5 Clyde for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 9.

Division I

Madison earned the No. 6 seed and slotted into the Division I Bowling Green district. The Rams will host No. 9 Oregon Clay in a sectional championship game at 5 p.m. May 8.

Ashland picked up the No. 18 seed in northwest Ohio and is in the Clyde district. The Arrows will visit No. 4 Toledo Whitmer for a sectional final game at 5 p.m. May 8.

Division III

Crestview earned the No. 2 seed in the Division III Shelby district and took a first-round bye. The Cougars will host a sectional championship game at 5 p.m. May 10. Crestview awaits the winner of the sectional semifinal game between No. 6 Galion and No. 8 Colonel Crawford. The Tigers host the Eagles at 5 p.m. May 7.

No. 7 Wynford will visit No. 5 Edison at 5 p.m. May 7.

In the top half of the bracket, No. 10 Bucyrus will visit No. 9 Willard for a sectional semifinal game at 5 p.m. May 7.

In northeast Ohio, Hillsdale picked up the No. 2 seed in the Wellington district and took a first-round bye. The Falcons will host either No. 17 Fairless or No. 22 Orrville at 5 p.m. May 9. 

Loudonville earned the No. 4 seed in the same district and also took a bye. The Redbirds will host either No. 6 Tuslaw or No. 21 Garfield Heights Trinity at 5 p.m. May 9.

Mapleton slotted into the Norwayne district and earned the No. 5 seed. The Mounties have a first-round bye and will host either No. 11 Dalton or No. 10 Chippewa at 5 p.m. May 9.

Division IV

Lucas picked up the No. 4 seed in the 10-team Galion district and took a first-round bye. The Cubs will host either No. 6 Seneca East or No. 7 Norwalk St. Paul in a sectional championship game at 5 p.m. May 9.

Mansfield Christian picked up the No. 5 seed and will host No. 8 Buckeye Central in a sectional semifinal game at 5 p.m. May 6. The winner will visit No. 2 New London at 5 p.m. May 9.

No. 9 seed Plymouth will visit No. 3 South Central for a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 9.

No. 10 Crestline will play at top-seeded Monroeville in a sectional final at 5 p.m. May 9.
