Shirley Jane Meadows, age 73 of Crestline, Ohio, passed away April 12, 2024 following
a long illness at her home surrounded by family.
On November 10, 1950 she was born the daughter of the late Pascal Moody and Helen Burton Moody Swineford in Mansfield, Ohio.
Shirley met her husband,Terry Meadows, while they both served as volunteer EMTs for Squad 5 in Johnsville, Ohio. On June 18, 1994 she and Terry married at their home in Johnsville. They shared 29 years together.
Shirley worked as a nurse aide in various nursing homes and in-home private care. Shirley almost always had a Pepsi in hand while watching crime shows. She enjoyed fishing, bird watching and was a huge dog lover.
She treasured her 12 grandkids, Chase Buzzard, Brooke Buzzard, Gage Buzzard, Gavin Buzzard, Reagan Kearns, Adrienne Kearns, Dane Kearns, Mason Meadows, Emily Meadows, Vada Meadows, Jaxon Meadows, and Brylenn Bartolomea. They meant the world to her.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Meadows; her children, John Buzzard, Jason
(Renee) Buzzard, Joe Buzzard, Shannon (Jason) Kearns and Nick (Jordyn) Meadows.
