MANSFIELD — Mansfielders have the opportunity to shake hands with action movie visionaries this Wednesday in downtown Mansfield.

Hollywood Director Sheldon Lettich, known for the movies “Bloodsport,” “Double Impact,” “Lion Heart,” and “Rambo III,” will be at City News/ Suzy’s Smoke Room with Los Angeles movie producer Jeff Miller known for “Escape from Death Block 13,” “Edgar Allen Poe’s Lighthouse Keeper,” and “Death Kiss.”

The free meet-and-greet will be from 4 to 6 p.m. at Suzy’s Smoke Room, with photo and autograph opportunities. Lettich will also have copies of his book “From Vietnam to Van Damme,” available for purchase.

“Sheldon and Jeff are Hollywood legends in the action film industry,” said David Kirst, owner and producer of Rominus James Productions. “Sheldon hasn’t been to Mansfield before, so we want to roll out the red carpet for him. I’m very excited to host this event.”

Both Lettich and Miller will also have posters of their previous films for sale at the event.

“I think Mansfield has a lot to offer these L.A. producers, directors and stars,” Kirst said. “Jeff has worked here for ‘Death Block’ and other projects and I think both of these gentlemen will be impressed with what our area has to offer.

“It’s a win for everyone involved. I’m very grateful to Mansfield for helping to build the film industry in my hometown — especially Braintree and Suzy Soprano for helping to host this event.”

The meet-and-greet is free and doesn’t require registration. Lettich and Miller will be at City News/ Suzy’s Smoke Room located at 100 N. Main St. from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
