Sharon Kay Hindes
July 25, 1956-February 29, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Kay (Johnson) Hindes at Riverside Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Feb 29, 2024.
She was a beloved Mother, Sister and Cherished Friend. Her smile was as big as her beloved Rocky Mountains, memorable and always lit up a room.
Born in Mansfield, Ohio July 25th 1956 to Lester Eugene Johnson and JoAnn (Plaster) Reedy.
Sharon graduated from Madison High School with the class of 1974.
She moved to Colorado where she raised her sons and enjoyed the Mountains and meeting many people who became friends that were family. She owned and operated Ridgway Liquor for many years.
After moving back to Ohio she worked at The Vault in Shelby, Ohio 2014-2022 where she was loved by coworkers and customers alike.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son Christopher Hindes of Columbus, Ohio; Brothers Lester Eugene Johnson Jr. and Bradley Johnson, Sister Judy Johnson all of Mansfield, Oh. Nieces, nephews and many cherished friends that were also family.
She was preceded in death by her son Nolan Hindes, her parents, and a nephew.
Per her wishes there will be no memorial service. A private Life Celebration for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
Final wishes were handled by Schoedinger Funeral Home, Columbus Ohio.
