LEXINGTON — A brand new egg hunt offers kids the chance to find more than just chocolate treats.

At noon on March 24, Sluss Realty will host their first community hunt, The Easter Bunny Money Hunt, at Patriot Park in Lexington.

Thousands of eggs will be filled with quarters or chocolate with a $25 grand prize egg in each age category. Kids up to age 10 are welcome to participate.

“We are so appreciative of the Village of Lexington for allowing us to host our first hunt at one of their beautiful parks,” said Sluss marketing director Jami Kinton-Sluss.

“Our company has held a summer festival – and are getting ready for our second – just held our first Christmas event and thought it would be fun to invite the community to celebrate Easter with us.

“Our team has gotten together several times already to stuff eggs and have already been having a blast preparing.”

Recently, the YWCA with It Takes Heart Ohio became a sponsor of the event.

With their help, the first 50 kids will now receive a unicorn or dino-stuffed Easter bunny.

“Holding events like these have been such a special way for us to give back to the community and allow us to connect with them on a much more personal level,” said broker Grant Sluss.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing everyone on March 24.”
