MANSFIELD — The Snow Trails team has announce its Vertical Descent Tubing Park will open for the 18th season on Thursday, Jan. 18 from 5 to 9 p.m.
The Tubing Park will be open Thursday through Sunday each week, with unique hours each day.
Glow Tubing will be offered each night the Tubing Park is open and is included in any two-hour Tubing Ticket Reservation during times after twilight – when the lights begin to glow.
“Cold temperatures well below the needed 29F finally came for an extended period, and our Snowmaking Crew has taken advantage of it,” Snow Trails stated in a press release. “These temperatures are forecasted to stay this week, allowing more days of Snowmaking prior to opening.
“Our Snow Groomers have been out moving piles of snow to make room for more, as we get ready to construct the Tubing Lanes of snow on-top of the deep snow base piling-up for Opening.”
Advanced reservations online are required at the Tubing Park. Walk-up tickets unavailable.

As the season develops Snow Trails will monitor the flow for offering the best experiences.
“We will look to release additional Tubing Tickets as we continually evaluate snow conditions to determine the maximum number of Ticket Reservations possible,” Snow Trails management stated.
If you cannot find availability during your desired day/time, be sure to check-back daily. Change requests are also permitted up to 24 hours in advance of arrivals, so you could find these tickets made available again.
There’s no experience necessary for Snow Tubing. Also, the park conveyor carpet lift means no one has to walk up the hill.
