Lori Kay Barnett was a caring mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She left this world on August 15, 2023 at age 58. She was born to Frederick and Joyce (Shaum) Rehberg on January 3, 1965 in Ashland Ohio along with her twin brother, Lance Rehberg.

She proudly held the crown of Miss Ontario 1982 and after graduating from Ontario high school in 1983, she continued to be an important member of the community. She went on to achieve her dreams of working in healthcare and education.

She used her creative and artistic abilities to always make the world a more beautiful and interesting place. She could always be found with her guitar, singing with family or out on the town belting karaoke classics with friends.

She is survived by her children: Dara (Bobby) Rehberg-McKinney, Kelsey (Kevin Rios) Barnett, and David Barnett; her brothers Derek (Tammy) Rehberg and Vince (Jennifer) Rehberg and their families, her grandchildren: Chase McKinney, Taylor McKinney, Aiden Rehberg, and Braylee Clayton; Nephews: Stephen Rehberg, Frederick (Tracy) Rehberg, Warren Rehberg, Westen Rehberg; Great nieces: Jenessa Rehberg, Reina Rehberg, Scarlet Rehberg, Rychel Rehberg; Great nephews; Nicolas Bolin, Nathan Bolin, Xavier Rehberg, Remington Darr; Her life long best friend Julie Hubert-Myers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Joyce Rehberg, and her brother Lance Rehberg. She will be truly missed as she touched the hearts of many.

A private graveside service will be held with family and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to Wayfinders Ohio (aka Harmony House) or the Richland Outreach Center (ROC).
