RICHLAND COUNTY — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Richland County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
State Route 39 bridge replacement – State Route 39 in the city of Mansfield, between E. 6th Street and Lafayette Ave, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a bridge replacement project.
NEW IMPACTS
The week of April 3, traffic will be reduced to one lane of traffic for water line work. Traffic will be maintained by portable traffic signals.
SR 39, between 6th Street and Surrey Road/Lafayette Ave, is anticipated to close Monday, April 17 for 60 days for bridge demolition.
The detour route for northbound motorists will be Diamond St/SR 13, SR 13 to U.S. 30 west, and take exit 129 for SR 39/Springmill St.
The detour route for southbound motorists will be SR 39 south to U.S. 30 east, take exit 130 for Longview/SR 13/SR 545, turn right onto Longview Ave, and turn left on SR 13 which will lead drivers to SR 39.
