Ross B. Fackler, Jr., age 76, of Hamilton, Montana, formerly of Shelby, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023.
Ross was born on August 13, 1946 in Shelby to the late Marabelle (Baker) and Ross Fackler, Sr. and was a 1964 graduate of Shelby High School. A proud veteran, Ross served in the United States Navy for 4 years. After serving, Ross worked on the family farm until 1990, when he moved to Montana. In Montana, he worked as a mechanic until retiring due to medical issues.
Survivors include his wife: Theresa Fackler; children: Scott (Maria) Fackler of MN, Lisa Hoover of FL, Mark (Tabitha) Fackler of MT, and Crystal (Matt) Lewis of OH; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; two sisters: Lucinda (Charles) Johnson and Shirley (Jim) Silverwood, both of OH; brother in law: Larry West, Sr. of OH; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ross was preceded in death by his son in law: Bill Hoover; and sister: Janet West.
Per Ross’ wishes, no services will be held. Care for Ross and his family is being provided by Daly-Leach Memorial Chapel.
