MANSFIELD — The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library invites the community to the annual Black History Celebration.
This event will be held at the Main Library at 43 W. Third St., Mansfield, on Saturday, February 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event will offer activities, games, history, giveaways, and a free meal from The Food Tour. The meal will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. while supplies last.
Several local community organizations, including NAACP Mansfield, North End Community Improvement Collaborative (NECIC), Richland County Transit, and Third Street Family Health Services, will be participating and offering activities and valuable information.
Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to participate in various curated activities throughout the Library. When guests arrive at the event, they will be offered an Activity Pass that, once completed, will serve as an entry into a grand prize drawing that will include four ticket vouchers to a performance at the Renaissance Theatre and a $100 restaurant gift card.
