Marvin Heinberger

MANSFIELD: Marvin L. Heinberger passed away from complication of kidney failure and dialysis Thursday, January 5, 2023 from OhioHealth Mansfield. He was 72.

He was born December 16, 1950 in Mansfield to parents Richard & Marjorie (Lambert) Heinberger. He was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. In high school years he was a champion golfer and worked at the country club.

Marvin worked for Eagle Door until deciding to start his own business in 1995 Ohio Door and Sash. He worked there as owner and operator until retiring in 2016.

In spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife hunting for squirrels and recently deer, as well as fishing in their pond or on Lake Erie. He also enjoyed going camping in his camper. He was a member of the Buckeye Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America and Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association. He enjoyed working outdoors and kept a vegetable garden.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia (McNabb) Heinberger; daughter Regina (Jeff) Hawkins; son David (Lisa Hagel) Dowler; grandchildren September Hall, Dakota (Rachael) Hawkins and Lily Dowler; great-grandchildren Draven Hall & Camilla Hall; as well as 2 sisters.

In addition to his grandparents, Marvin was preceded in death by his parents Richard & Marjorie Heinberger; parents-in-law Howard & Irene McNabb; sister- in-law and her husband Carol & Bill Hankins.

His family will receive friends 4-8pm Monday, January 9, 2023 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring his life will be held 12 pm Tuesday officiated by Pastor Jay Hill. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Lucas.
