Leo John Sheetz, 89, of Mansfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Lexington Court Care Center.
Leo was born March 29, 1933 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was the son of Conrad and Elizabeth (Hriesik) Sheetz. Leo retired after 41 years of service from Empire Detroit Steel Mill.
He is survived by his children, Diana (Bob) Fraley, Joyce Rabqula, Rita Clark, John (Nina) Sheetz, and Jenny Gregg; his sister, Carol Barber; and sister-in-law, Barbara Barker. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 29 years, Nancy Sheetz.
The family will observe private services. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
