KANSAS — Kamryn Lohr threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns and Colonel Crawford lit up the scoreboard from the start in a 42-3 win over Lakota in Friday night’s high school football action.

The Eagles (2-0) did all their damage in the first half.

Lohr found Trevor Vogt on a 47-yard hookup, and Matt Clinard added a 5-yard scoring run for a 14-3 first-quarter lead.

C.C. stretched the advantage with a four-touchdown explosion in the second period.

Micah Thomas ripped off a 25-yard TD dash, Tanner Dyer posted an 11-yard scoring bolt, Jacob Maddy caught a 33-yard touchdown pass and Vogt snagged another 47-yarder to finish all the scoring before halftime.

Clinard had 82 yards rushing as Colonel Crawford dominated the statistical battle, too.

The Eagles had more total yards (434-146), passing yards (217-28), rushing yards (217-118), and first downs (17-5). Colonel Crawford was an efficient 6-of-9 on third-down conversions, while Lakota was 0-of-11 in those situations.

C.C. travels to East Knox on Friday night.
