SHELBY — Julia Auck, of Shelby, Ohio was recently chosen the 2022 Ohio Teen Miss Agriculture USA.
Miss Agriculture USA is a national nonprofit organization that focuses on positively promoting agriculture featuring queens of all ages that promote, celebrate, and educate about all the diverse aspects of agriculture.
Julia is the 14-year-old daughter of Jennifer and Ryan Auck of Shelby. She is a freshman at Shelby High School. She is a varsity bowler on the girls team and participates in Tennessee Walker horse shows.
Her agricultural interests include horses, rabbits, dogs, and crops. She is a fourth-year member of 4-H and serves as vice president of her club, Wild-N-Free. Auck also sits on the Richland County Junior Fair Board. At Shelby, she is in her first year of FFA.
Julia has now earned the opportunity to continue on to the National Miss Agriculture USA Competition that will take place in Ohio in June 2022.
