LEXINGTON — Braden Forup and Elijah Hudson each scored 17 points to spearhead Lexington’s 60-26 victory over Clear Fork on Friday night, sewing up a Division II sectional championship in the process.

Forup also had 12 rebounds and Hudson Moore contributed 10 points as the Minutemen controlled the game from the opening tip.

Victor Skoog’s eight points topped the Colts, while Kaleb Hollar had five points.

The Minutemen controlled the game throughout, leading 12-7 after the first quarter, and 26-14 at halftime. Lex enjoyed a 45-21 spread heading to the final eight minutes.

The Minutemen had a 45-25 rebounding bulge.

Lexington (14-9) meets Mansfield Senior on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Ashland District Tournament.
