GALION — The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Crawford County. All outlined work is weather permitting.
State Route 598 minor widening
State Route 598 in the city of Galion, from Carter Drive to Brandt Road, will have single lane closures for temporary pavement and drainage work. Traffic will be maintained by temporary traffic signals.
NEW IMPACTS
Brandt Road, between SR 598 and Galion Leesville Road, will have daytime closures beginning Wednesday, Feb. 23, for storm sewer installation.
Residential access will be maintained. The daily closures will take place between 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The detour route for motorists will be south on Galion Leesville Road/Market Street, west on Harding Street, north on SR 598, and reverse.
Estimated completion of entire project: October 2022.
