MANSFIELD — The 419 Creatives in a Partnership with Richland Source Serves Up “Stone Soup” an Art SaleĀ Extravaganza to benefit The Harmony House.
On Saturday, March 12 from noon to 6 p.m. Idea+Works will open its doors to a collection of local artists known as the 419 Creatives to host an art sale to benefit the Harmony House in downtown Mansfield.
“Stone Soup” is a reference to the story of people coming together with what little they have and a beautiful pot of soup that they all could share.
This art show is the same bringing everything together to create something wonderful that we all can share.
This event brings together 20 artists who work in different mediums such as Fiber Arts, clay, paint, and some that may surprise you.
Jokingly a starving artist sale the event is an opportunity for artists to clean out their Studios and for patrons of the arts to purchase beautiful work at discounted prices.
Ten percent of the sales go to benefit the Harmony House as well as accepting donations at the door.
There will be live music provided by Jody Odom Jr, Cody Cramer, The Banana Peels, Irie Hive and Aurelio Diaz. Food and drinks will be provided.
