ONTARIO — The Ohio Bird Sanctuary is encouraging the public to come out and show the love to owls.
The facility will host a “Love is in the Air” event on Saturday, Feb. 12, with an owl presentation followed by a hike to call for wild owls. The Ohio Bird Sanctuary is located at 3774 Orweiler Road, Ontario, Ohio 44903.
Pre-registration is required. Participants can select from three different presentation/hike times: 10 a.m., noon, or 2 p.m.
Space is limited, and a ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the event (Children 2 years old and younger are free).
Each group will enjoy a 30-minute owl presentation followed by a 30-minute hike to call for wild owls living on the Sanctuary’s property.
There will be hot chocolate available in the Education Building after the hike.
This event will be held both inside and outside, so please remember to bring proper clothing to be outside. Restrooms will be available in the Education Building.
