BUCYRUS – FCBank, a division of CNB Bank, is pleased to announce a charitable contribution to the Bucyrus YMCA Capital Campaign in the amount of $50,000 to support the necessary repairs and upgrades to make the Bucyrus YMCA a cornerstone of the Bucyrus community.
This commitment supports FCBank’s mission to serving the continued growth and well-being of the areas in which they operate.

The Bucyrus YMCA has a positive impact on many peoples’ lives in the community. From preschool programs to senior Silver Sneaker classes, the YMCA reaches people at all stages of their lives. This contribution will ensure the organization can continue to build programming to broaden membership and contribute to overall health of the Bucyrus community.

FCBank’s donation will ensure that the wellness facility and pool can be used by members to maintain their personal health for years to come.”
When the Bucyrus YMCA’s Timken Natatorium Pool was built in the mid-1970s, it was a wonderful addition to the community. More than 43 years later, the pool and the original portion of the YMCA will be repaired using contributions to the Bucyrus YMCA Capital Campaign.
The pool is currently used for member swim, youth swim lessons, childcare children swim lessons, Silver Sneaker aquatic fitness class and local swim teams including Bucyrus High School, Upper Sandusky High School, Wynford High School and the YMCA White Sharks.
As of today, the community has raised more than $1.59 million for the Bucyrus YMCA Capital Campaign and $395,000 for the Future Fund Endowment. The endowment has been started to ensure that future capital expenditures are funded. When donations are made to the YMCA, it is not just a donation to a gym.
Although facilities can and do benefit from the generosity of others, buildings and equipment reflect just a small portion of the role the center plays in the community.
