Amy D. Stevens passed away on Dec. 24, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. She was 61.
She was born Jan. 13, 1960 to parents Robert and Gloria Diemer (Gaul) in Mansfield, Ohio. After Amy’s graduation from high school, she went on to earn an Associates degree in Nursing
On June 10, 1995, she married Michael Stevens and they shared 26 wonderful years of marriage. Together Amy and Mike raised their daughter, Tess, who was the light of Amy’s life.
Amy held many different jobs over her life time that ranged from being a hostess, working with her uncle Rick Gaul making signs as well as at Tridico Signs, and spent some time as a nurse before being stricken by her debilitating degenerative brain disease. Her favorite job though, was being a full-time mom to Tess.
In her spare time, she took pleasure in gardening, creating stained glass pieces, dancing, doting on her pets, and spending time with her friends. But above all, Amy cherished her arts and crafts projects with Tess.
She is survived by her loving daughter Tess Stevens, husband Michael Stevens, sister Missy Diemer Zehner, brother Brett (Joanne) Diemer, parents-in-law Chan and Boo Stevens, as well as many other beloved family members and friends.
I love you so much Mom
-Tess
