MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Division of Police would like to congratulate Sgt. Jered Kingsborough and Sgt. Ryan Grimshaw on their successful completion of the Supervisors Training Education Program (STEP).

“Our congratulations to both sergeants,” Mansfield Police chief Keith Porch said.

STEP is a 3-week police supervisory course developed by the Ohio Law Enforcement Foundation (an affiliate of the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police) that is designed to develop newly promoted officers, or about to be promoted officers, into highly effective first-line supervisors.

The training modules are presented over a period of three months, with attendees attending one-week sessions each month.
