ONTARIO — The postseason awards keep piling up for Ontario’s Kyla Spencer and Gage Weaver.

Both Spencer and Weaver were selected to the United Soccer Coaches High School All-America teams, released Monday.

Only 158 players from across the country were selected to the USC High School All-America teams. Spencer was one of 70 girls to earn the honor, while Weaver was one of 88 boys.

A junior forward, Spencer helped the Warriors win an outright Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference championship. Ontario was 15-3-3 and reached the Division II district finals.

Spencer scored 33 goals and added 13 assists. She was selected the MOAC Player of the Year for a third straight year and was an All-Ohio first team pick in Division II.

Like Spencer, Weaver was selected the MOAC Player of the Year after helping the Warriors win the MOAC crown outright. Ontario was 13-6-1 and reached the district championship match.

An athletic forward, Weaver scored 37 goals and added eight assists. He was an All-Ohio first team pick in Division II.
