SHELBY — Cooper Enterprises in Shelby has announced the promotion of Michael A. Murray to president as part of the company’s ongoing succession planning.
Cooper Enterprises is a contract manufacturing company located at 89 Curtis Drive, in Shelby.
Murray previously served as Vice President of Operations, Director of Sales and Marketing and Sales Manager.
“Mike has been with us for 24 years and has a degree in Business Management and Computer Systems in Business from Ohio University,” said LaMont (Monty) Friebel, CEO Cooper Enterprises, Inc.
Friebel will remain as Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer, and his brother and business partner, Edward A. Friebel will remain as Executive Vice President.
