Richland Public Health will be gathering input from all Richland County residents through Visioning Sessions.

MANSFIELD — Richland Public Health is asking for Richland County resident’s input on what they believe a healthy and an equitable community would look like.

“This is one of the beginning phases of our Community Health Assessment (CHA) process” said Dr. Julie Chaya, Director of Community Health & Prevention Sciences at Richland Public Health.

“The public’s vision of what a healthy and equitable Richland County looks like will help our agency and our community partner’s form a collaborative strategic plan that we will implement over the next five years.”

Richland Public Health will be gathering input from all Richland County residents through Visioning Sessions. Residents can participate in a Visioning Sessions through any of the following options:

Option #1: There will be three (3) in-person Visioning Sessions at Richland Public Health with limited seating due to social distancing and masking requirements. Those sessions will be held in the Corley Room on Oct. 13, 21, and 27 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Option #2: There will be three (3) ZOOM meetings hosted by Richland Public Health on Oct. 15, 19, and 29 also from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Any resident in Richland County can participate in the 5-question Visioning Session. Responses will be collected until the end of October.
