MANSFIELD – A Collage Workshop is scheduled to be held at Richland Academy on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This art workshop is for those ages 16+ and will be taught by certified art therapist and instructor, Jacy Warrick.

Students in the Collage Workshop will walk through the process of creating a collage from start to finish, including preparation and sealing of the final piece. Creation of a collage involves the application of various materials, including paints, different types of paper, cloth, stamps, beads, and other materials to a surface to create an image. There will be an hour break for lunch during this workshop from noon to 1 p.m.

This workshop is open to adults of all ages and abilities.

“This workshop is meant to inspire creativity and establish an outlet for self-expression for adults,” says Marianne Cooper, Executive Director at Richland Academy. “Part of our mission is to bring arts education to students of all ages and backgrounds, so this workshop is a wonderful opportunity for the community.”
