He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren L. Izer and Miriam I. Izer and a brother, Jon Izer.

Ron worked at Tappan Stove Co. for approx. 30 yrs. and H & W Repair (Dave Hopper Trucking) for about 15 yrs. He enjoyed his fellow workers at both places and was known at “The Donut Man” at H & W Repair where he treated both treated both Kokosing workers as well as those truckers on the job.

He attended Central Christian Church in Gilberts, AZ and was a member of Crossroads Church in Mansfield, OH.

Ron was a lifelong fan of cars. He had a ’54 Chevy he bought in ’59 and put a Corvette engine in it. He had a ’58 Corvette that he restored and showed in many Custom Car Shows in and around Ohio. He also restored a 1965 Pontiac GTO to pristine condition and finished it after he moved to AZ. He won first place in all the car shows that he entered in AZ, several with Goodguys at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale. His Pontiac GTO has been on YouTube and Facebook as several entities has posted it there.

He will be remembered by many friends and family for his kindness, his humor and his ability to fix most anything around the house. He and his wife moved to AZ in 2017 to be near their grandson, Ethan, and he spent a great deal of time playing any sport that Ethan wanted to play. He will be missed by so many friends in Ohio, S. Carolina, Florida and Arizona. Farewell my friend!
