VANLUE — A Mansfield woman was killed and four others were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Ohio 15 near Vanlue on Sunday evening in Hancock County.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office reported that Della S. Fellure-Dowdy, 69, was pronounced dead at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay after the accident at 5:46 p.m., according to the Findlay Courier.

One of the other drivers, Jennifer Gilmurray, 46, of Baldwin, Michigan, along with her three passengers, Michael Gilmurray, 56, of Baldwin, and Carson Dalton, 10, and Amelia Munsell, 4, both of Clarksville, Michigan, were all transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, the newspaper said.

The driver of the third vehicle, Trevor Smith, 31, of Alvada, was not injured.

According to the sheriff’s report, Fellure-Dowdy was southbound on Township Road 198 in a Chevrolet Equinox. She stopped for a stop sign at Ohio 15, then crossed over the westbound lanes of the highway and collided with a westbound Jeep being driven by Gilmurray, the Courier reported.

Fellure-Dowdy’s vehicle came to rest on the northwest corner of Ohio 15 and Township Road 198.

Gilmurray’s Jeep went off the road to the left, crossed the median and went into the eastbound lanes of Ohio 15, where it collided with an eastbound Ford Escape being driven by Smith.

Smith’s vehicle spun in the roadway, with the Jeep coming to rest in the ditch on the south side of the highway.
