MANSFIELD — The Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development will take place Friday, March 26, from noon to 1 p.m. via the Chamber’s Facebook page.
Annual awards will be a significant part of the meeting.
Brian P. McCartney will be presented with an Economic Impact Award. McCartney is an optimistic entrepreneur who started an expansion and renovation project at a time when many others were hunkering down, enhancing business growth and community support.
Michael Murray & Production Design Team at Cooper Enterprises Inc will also be presented with an Economic Impact Award. At the onset of COVID-19, Murry and his team, who normally work with wood products, quickly adapted to plastic products and designed a whole line of protective materials to assist businesses of all sizes to quickly follow the new regulations.
Andrew Beilstein will be presented with the Richland Young Professionals (RYP) Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. In 2013, Beilstein embarked on a new family business, 1285 Winery. Working closely with Destination Mansfield to help promote the area’s wine trail, Beilsteincan often be seen promoting the area’s local businesses to travelers having a glass of wine after picking blueberries.
Stephanie Zader will be presented the RYP Community Hero Award. Zader specializes in commercial real estate and leads a team at her own realty company, EXP Realty. Beyond her work in real estate, she has always been eager to pay her successes forward and has engaged in philanthropic work through a variety of non-profit organization. Most recently, she was appointed to Mansfield City Council.
Additional awards that will be announced live at the event include the ATHENA Award sponsored by Park National Bank, the Chairman’s Award and Ambassador of the Year.
“Going virtually this year will be a big change, but we are extremely excited to bring participants an engaging hour of content and awards. We are thrilled to be partnering with DRM Productions on the virtual aspect of this event,” said Lisa Duckworth, program and events manager at the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development.
