MANSFIELD – St. Peter’s School would like to invite the community to its first annual Easter Egg Hunt, taking place at Spartan Fields on Saturday, March 27 at 10 a.m.

The free event will feature prizes, food, and music.

More than 6,000 candy-filled Easter Eggs will be placed across the athletic complex so that children can spread out and hunt. This event will give families the opportunities to get outdoors and have fun in a safe and distanced manner.

“We’re very excited about this event to give families a chance to get out and enjoy the spring weather, said Jason Crundwell, Marketing Director. “We are going to spread the eggs over several soccer fields to allow plenty of room to hunt for eggs safely.”

The event is open to all children ages 12 and younger. In addition to the candy, some eggs contain prizes, including toys, electronics, and gift certificates. The Easter Bunny will also make an appearance and be available for photos.

As per current health guidelines, masks will be required for entrance. Extra masks and bags will be available, as well as hand-sanitizing stations, concessions, and bathrooms.

Spartan Fields athletic complex is located at 640 Hickory Lane on the east side of Mansfield. Signs will be out to help direct visitors to the complex.
